Privacy Policy

We built Gong Timer with a simple intention: to create a quiet, private meditation tool that stays fully on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

1. Data Collection

We collect nothing. Gong Timer stores only minimal information directly on your iPhone using Apple’s local storage system (UserDefaults).

• ✔️ Your selected meditation duration
• ✔️ The dates you completed meditation sessions

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or choose to reset it inside the app settings.

2. No Accounts or Cloud Sync

Gong Timer does not require sign-up, login, or any internet connection. There is no cloud sync or remote server. Everything happens offline.

3. No Analytics or Third-Party Services

We do not use analytics tools, crash reporting, ads, or tracking frameworks. The app is completely self-contained.

4. Notifications

The app may send local notifications to let you know when a meditation session has completed. These are handled entirely by iOS and never involve a network call or third-party service.

5. Data Control

You can reset all your meditation data at any time from within the app settings. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, updates will appear here. We will always keep the language simple and clear.
